Each piece is cut to your measurements at no extra cost — and because of the trade agreement between India and the UAE, there is no import duty at all on what we send you.
What it costs to get it here
Zero. Under the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, garments made in India enter the Emirates duty free. We ship with a certificate of origin so the exemption actually applies.
Free tracked express on every bridal order. Anything under the equivalent of $1,000 is a flat $4.95.
Nothing. We clear the parcel ourselves. If a notice ever does arrive, forward it to us and we settle it.
How long it takes
Ready-to-ship sizes leave our atelier in 2–3 business days and reach you in a further 5–9 days. Made-to-measure pieces are hand-embroidered for you and take 4–6 weeks door to door.
If you have a wedding, a walima or a sangeet with a fixed date, tell us when you order. We confirm in writing whether we can make it before taking your money.
Why order from India rather than buy in the souk
The same work, without the shop markup
Most of the heavy hand embroidery sold in the Emirates was made in India to begin with. We are the step before the shop — the same atelier work, without the rent on Meena Bazaar.
Cut to you, not to a rail size
A bridal lehenga bought off a rail almost always goes to a tailor afterwards, and you pay twice. Send us four measurements and we cut it that way in the first place, at no extra cost.
Zero duty is a real advantage here
An identical parcel sent to the USA carries 26.5% import duty. Sent to the Emirates it carries none. That is not marketing — it is the CEPA trade agreement, and it is the reason our prices work better for you than for a bride in New York.

Made to measure, at no extra cost
Pick a size from XS to XXL, or pick Made to measure on the product page. The price is the same either way. After you order we email you a one-page measuring guide with photographs, read your numbers back to you in writing, and cut nothing until you confirm them.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars today. Your bank converts at its own rate when you pay. We are working on showing dirham prices directly — when that is live, this page will say so.
Returns
Ready-to-ship pieces can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 7 days of delivery, unworn and with tags on. Made-to-measure pieces are cut for one person and are final sale — which is exactly why we confirm every measurement with you in writing first. If a piece arrives damaged, or does not match the measurements we confirmed, we replace it at our cost.
KANZARA is a registered Indian exporter. Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) PIGPK7064B, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Every parcel ships with a proper commercial invoice and, for the Emirates, a certificate of origin.
